* The Machine...The No. 6 Ford Fusion once again carries the familiar CitiFinancial colors this weekend. CitiFinancial is the primary sponsor for 19 races in 2010. The team will use chassis #RK-296 in the Heluva Good! 200. Stenhouse started 24th and finished 25th with this chassis at Bristol in March. This chassis was also used five times in 2009 Nationwide Series competition scoring four top-10 finishes including David Ragan's win in Bristol last August.
* Now Appearing...Stenhouse will be visiting two CitiFinancial branches in the Dover area on Friday, May 14, 2010. The first stop will be in Dover, Del. at 3:45 p.m. EDT. Stenhouse will then appear in Milford, Del. at 4:45 p.m. EDT. On Saturday, May 15, 2010, Stenhouse will sign autographs in the Fan Zone at Dover International Speedway from 8:00 a.m. EDT -- 9:00 a.m. EDT.
* Getting in on time...The No. 6 CitiFinancial Racing team sits 33rd in the NASCAR Nationwide Series owner point standings after 10 races and must qualify on time at Dover International Speedway. The top-30 teams are locked into the event.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Dover International Speedway:
"Dover is a mean place. It's a fast track. I've never raced on it before, but I was there twice last year so I feel like I know the line. Both corners are similar so that will help, but it seems like an easy place to get in trouble. I feel pretty good about getting up to speed in practice and feel confident that our CitiFinancial Ford will be fast in qualifying. I like high-banked tracks that are fast, so I am looking forward to going to Dover this weekend to see what the "Monster" is all about."
Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Dover International Speedway:
"Dover is a fast, high-banked track that is always exciting. The car that we are bringing is a proven piece and one that we're excited about. Ricky loves tracks that are high-banked so we feel confident that the CitiFinancial Ford will be competitive. Since we have to qualify on time, it's important to stay out of trouble during practice so that we give ourselves the best opportunity to succeed when it comes time to race."
