DJ Kennington and the Mahindra Tractors ...
DJ Kennington and the Mahindra Tractors #81 Dodge crew at MacDonald Motorsports is looking for redemption at Daytona this weekend. On April 26th, Kennington was running in the top 10 all day only to have a cut tire ruin their day at Talladega with only 20 laps to go.
"We circled this date immediately after that Talladega race," stated Kennington. "We have a really good car for Daytona and the team is really excited to get back at a restrictor plate track."
Kennington will have another busy weekend, as the International Racer will compete in both the U.S. and Canada. "This schedule is much easier than in weeks past.. We race in Daytona on Friday and I have a race in St Eustache, Montreal on Saturday."
DJ from St Thomas, Ontario, Canada finished 3rd last week in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at Barrie Speedway and moved into the 3rd position in points.
"Last week was disappointing. The weather messed up our chance of doing both races (NHMS and Barrie) in the same day. My airline flight got moved back, the Canadian race got moved forward 2 hours because of the weather. It was a mess but Randy, did a great job in the Mahindra Dodge."
