Scott talks Daytona

"Daytona is going to be a fun race. This race always brings out a great amount of fans. I love night racing and Daytona is always fun under the lights. The July race differs from the February race a lot. The track is a completely different animal. In July, the track is hot and slick. Unlike in the spring, the race becomes more of a handling race. It's so important to get grip all around. Sometimes you will sacrifice speed to have some grip on the long run, which is somewhat unique on a superspeedway."

Scott on Nationwide Series New Car

"With introducing the new, there is kind of a question mark on how it will handle and what you will need to do to find speed. It will be a new venture for everyone involved and it will be exciting for me being a rookie. This brings a clean slate to the table which kind of levels the playing field for me to learn the nuances of the new car hopefully quicker than anyone else. It should be interesting to see it play out and I'm really looking forward to it. It was great to go down for a test, but nobody will really know what will happen once 43 cars take to the track under green flag conditions."

Scott on Great Clips

"It's always great to work with a new marketing partner like Great Clips. They were great to me last year when I was making my first starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with Braun Racing. I'm really looking forward to seeing the great group of people in management and also the associates that come out to the track. They're a tremendous sponsor to have behind you. They activate their sponsorship a ton around Jason and Kasey and to be a part of that is great for me. I'm really looking forward to representing them in Daytona and giving them a good showing."

Equipment Information

The No. 11 BigSpot.com team is bringing chassis No. BR103 for this weekend's Subway Jalapeno 250. Braun Racing has begun numbering their Nationwide Series New Car chassis in the 100's meaning the No. 11 team will bring the third 'NNS New Car' built.
