Del Wolfgramm, a True Incredible Hero Recognized at Texas

Mooresville, NC (March 30, 2009) -- The campaign to recognize incredible people in 2009 continues as the NASCAR Nationwide Series heads out west to the Lonestar State this weekend. The America's Incredible Pizza Company will honor Del Wolfgramm for his selfless and heroic effort to save a man's life from a burning car.

It was a Monday evening when two airline workers left Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport right around the same time. In an instant both men's lives would change as the vehicle driven by Mike Robinson lost control and immediately erupted into flames. Del Wolgramm witnessed the horrifying incident first hand and quickly leapt into action to save the man's life.

"I saw the car lose control," Wolfgramm stated. "I saw the headlights kind of jumping up and down. I ran up and banged on the window, and he was unconscious."

Robinson was groggy but remembers being trapped with his car on fire. "I looked up and I saw flames," he said. "That's all I remember. It just went vroom."

Wolfgramm didn't think twice as he forced the driver's side door open and pulled the stranger to safety.

Mike Robinson left the accident with only minor injuries and he is truly grateful beyond words for Delgramm's heroism.

"In my eyesight, he is a hero," Robinson said. "He's my hero, and I thank him! I thank him with my life!"

The Texas Incredible Hero unfortunately will not be able to attend the O'Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend due to prior commitments. The America's Incredible Pizza Company and CJM Racing will be sending the fifth hero of the season a plaque in his honor along with some goody items from the race team.

"This new campaign has been a great success," stated Rick Barsness, CEO of America's Incredible Pizza Company. "The opportunity to thank these people and help them get their stories out there has been a remarkable experience. There are so many selfless and wonderful people out there."
