Buescher talks Charlotte Motor Speedway
"Charlotte is one of my favorite racetracks. I think everyone likes playing in their own backyard, but it's more than that. The racetrack itself is a great facility. The track is super fast with a lot great characteristics. We will be qualifying in the afternoon when the track surface is hot and greasy. Then we will be racing at night where the grip levels rise. This will be my first race in the Nationwide Series New Car so it's going to be interesting to get a feeling on how they drive and what type of inputs they need from me as a driver. I'm going to have to rely on my teammates for some help but I'm sure between Jason, Reed and David, they can help get me up to speed pretty quickly."
Buescher on the Ella Foard Foundation for Rett Syndrome
"It's always special to bring awareness to a great cause like The Ella Foard Foundation for Rett Syndrome. We have such a great opportunity to be on a stage that allows us to get the word out about a terrible disorder that affects 1 of every 10,000 female births. Because Rett Syndrome is a developmental disorder it's often misdiagnosed as autism, cerebral palsy or non-specific developmental delay. There are thousands of children that suffer from this disorder that currently has no cure. Bringing this fact to light can hopefully inspire the many NASCAR fans that have such a giving heart to help in funding the research for treatment and a cure."
