This Week's Zaxby's Chevrolet at Charlotte ... Clint Bowyer will drive Chassis No. 087 in Friday's Dollar General 300. This is an NNS New Car, which features a revised chassis that is based off the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Car of Tomorrow and designed to promote safety, cost containment for race teams and better brand identity for the NASCAR Nationwide Series as a whole. In its last on-track appearance, this Chevrolet was driven to a seventh place finish at Richmond.

350 NASCAR Starts for Clint ... When Bowyer takes the green flag for Friday's NNS race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, it will mark his 350th career NASCAR national series start. The Emporia, Kansas, native is a veteran of all three of NASCAR's national touring divisions, with 175 career starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, 167 career starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and seven starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Career highlights include three wins, 26 top fives, 77 top 10s and two poles in NSCS competition, qualifying for the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup twice, with a career-best finish of third in the 2007 championship standings. In the NNS, Bowyer has posted eight wins, 61 top fives, 107 top 10s and seven poles, earning the NNS championship in 2008 and finishing in the top three in the final point standings three times (2005, 2006, 2008). Bowyer has one win (Texas), two top fives, three top 10s and one pole in NCWTS competition.

Stockman Calling the Shots ... Danny Stockman will serve as crew chief for the No. 21 Zaxby's Chevrolet this weekend. Stockman, the fulltime crew chief for Raybestos rookie of the year contender Austin Dillon in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, made his debut as Bowyer's crew chief in the NNS at Bristol in August and is splitting crew chief duties with RCR's Gere Kennon this season. Several members of the No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet will join Stockman in Richmond this weekend.

Double Duty ... Following Friday's Dollar General 300, Bowyer will compete in Saturday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Charlotte in the No. 33 Cheerios/Hamburger Helper Chevrolet. The race airs live on ABC at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and will be broadcast on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius XM Satellite Radio beginning at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

CLINT BOWYER:

What are your expectations for Charlotte? "We haven't been getting the finishes that we need this year but we have some pretty good runs in the Nationwide Series at Charlotte, so I think we can turn it around. We're going all out."

This weekend marks you're 350th career NASCAR start. What does it mean to you to hit that milestone in a Nationwide Series race? "I've had a lot of success in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, with wins and the championship in 2008, so it's cool that I get to reach that milestone this weekend. It goes by fast."
