Jorge Goeters will be making his fifth career NASCAR Busch Series start for Brewco Motorsports in the #27 Kleenex/Cub Cadet Ford Fusion for the Zippo 200.
Goeters, from Mexico City, Mexico, won the pole for the first ever NASCAR Busch Series race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City in March, 2005.
Goeters has one Busch start at Watkins Glen, August 12, 2005 with Braun Racing. He qualified 18th, finished 9th, completing all 82 laps.
Jorge Goeters on the Zippo 200 and Watkins Glen International:
"Watkins Glen is a course that I know very well. I have lots of laps on the course in both NASCAR Busch cars and sports cars, so I feel very comfortable at Watkins Glen. Stewart (Crew Chief Cooper) and the Brewco guys always have a well-prepared car for me on the road courses. Watkins Glen is a track that presents lots of challenges, but is a course that I love to drive. I had a good car and was set for a strong finish last week in Montreal until I had a brake issue. This week at Watkins Glen, I'm looking to give Kleenex/Cub Cadet a strong race."
