CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 1, 2002) -- Herzog Jackson Motorsports announced today that driver Todd Bodine has left the No. 92 Excedrin QuickTabs NASCAR Busch Series team to concentrate on his NASCAR Winston Cup Series efforts.

Herzog Jackson Motorsports, a third-year Busch Series team, has posted nine top-10 and six top-5 finishes during the 2002 season. The team won the event at Kentucky Speedway in June before earning the pole position at Chicagoland Speedway in July.

Herzog Jackson Motorsports plans to compete in the remainder of the events on the 2002 Busch Series schedule and is currently in the process of hiring a replacement driver for the final six races of the season.
