There's No "I" In Team... Tim Fedewa knows the benefits of having two teammates. The biggest benefit is being able to share information with teammates Todd Bodine and David Green. This weekend, Fedewa hopes that the Stanley team can draw on the successes of his teammates and have a strong run at Rockingham. "We didn't run well at Rockingham in the spring, but Todd and David both had really good runs there," Fedewa said. "It's times like these when being part of a three car team is really beneficial. We'll go back and study their set-ups, and hopefully they can bail us out of a bad situation. "Having teammates to fall back on is so important. Sharing information and comparing set-ups and lap times really gives us a leg up that a lot of teams don't have."
The Final Countdown... With four races to go, the teams in the garage are counting down the days until the end of the 2000 season so they can catch a little extra shut-eye on the weekends. For now though, racing is what the Stanley team is concentrating on. "My main goal right now is to finish the season with some top 10s and top fives," Fedewa said. "This team has really come together during the year. We've struggled some and we've overcome our share of bad luck. I couldn't be more proud of the effort we have exhibited on the track and our accomplishments. But I'm not quite ready for the curtain to fall on this season just yet - we want to go out on a high note."
The Stanley Racing Machine... The No. 36 car competing on the track this weekend is the same car that the team ran in Charlotte two weeks ago. "We didn't really get the chance to show anyone the car's capability because of the damage early-on at Charlotte," said crew chief Billy Nacewicz. "We need to stay on the lead lap and stay out of trouble, and I'm confident we'll have a top 10 car. It's a fast car, and I'm looking forward to a strong run this weekend."
