ANDRETTI HEADS TO THE LONESTAR STATE
After getting some much needed rest and relaxation during the off weekend, Andretti and the #10 FreedomRoads team are ready to head south to Ft. Worth. They say "everything's bigger in Texas" and the #10 team hopes that old saying holds true. They're hoping to "round-up" an even bigger finish than the ninth place finish they picked up at Bristol Motor Speedway. The team earned its first top-10 of the season and Andretti captured the Rookie-of-the-Race honors for the first time this season. Andretti is currently tied for 3rd in the Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year points race and sits 22nd in NASCAR Busch Series driver point standings.
The #10 team is taking chassis # 31 to Texas. This is the same chassis the team ran in Atlanta earlier this season where Andretti finished 20th
In 7 Nextel Cup starts at Texas Motor Speedway, Andretti completed 77.4% of all the laps possible. He has never led a lap at Texas but hopes to make history this weekend.
Andretti's average start in Texas is 28.7 and his average finish is 28.
