Jason Keller Notes:

* The Albertsons team's consistency in the past four races has moved driver Jason Keller up to second in the NASCAR Busch Series championship standings. Keller has four straight top-10 finishes, including a third-place effort at Bristol last weekend. Keller was 27th after the first race of the season and now sits second, just 48 points behind the leader.

* Albertsons, Keller's primary sponsor, owns and operates over 220 stores and a major distribution center in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

* Keller finished 13th last year at Texas Motor Speedway despite running the entire race with a bad clutch. The Albertsons team had to push Keller down pit road to get the No. 57 into gear as the car rolled off pit road for the start of the race and each pit stop.

Jason Keller Quotes:

Tackling Texas Motor Speedway... Keller is looking for his first top-five finish at Texas Motor Speedway. Keller's best finish at the track is sixth in 1999. The team expects the racing to be fast and tough as the NASCAR Busch Series prepares for its seventh event in Texas.

"We've battled several things at Texas Motor Speedway that have kept us from finishing where we should have," said Keller. "Our performance on the track has been good enough to finish near the top five, but different circumstances have kept us from finishing well.

"We are going to Texas with a new mindset this year. We are going to go right into qualifying mode off the truck so we get used to running fast and charging the corners hard. In the past we have run race trim first and you adjust to running a little slower. We want to be quick immediately and then continue to work on maintaining that speed. This is also one of the first years that they haven't resurfaced the track. In the past Texas has primarily been a one groove racetrack. Now it should be a little seasoned and the racing should be better. We still don't know if a second groove will completely come into play, so it's important to qualify up front because you just don't know how difficult it will be to pass during the race."

Where to see Keller... Keller will be signing autographs for Albertsons customers with his No. 57 Ford Taurus at an Albertsons store in Watauga, Texas on Friday from 5-7:00 pm. The address for the store is 8424 Denton Highway.

The Albertsons Ford Taurus... Keller will be driving the same 2003 Ford Taurus that he ran at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earlier this month. Keller finished fifth in that race despite have limited practice with the new body style due to inclement weather.
