Sadler, FanZCar Looking Forward To Texas
Forth Worth, Texas - - As things are looking better every week for SCORE Motorsports, and The FanZCar, they bring their continuous momentum into the "Lone Star" state, as the NASCAR Busch Series will saddle into Texas Motor Speedway for the running of the O'Reilly 300.
Heading into BMS this weekend, Sadler has four career Busch starts with a career best finish of 19th which occurred in 1997 after starting 3rd, also a career best starting position at the Superspeedway. Hermie heads into the Fort Worth, based track looking for vengeance as he was taken out by a lap machine last year with less than ten laps remaining while running in the top-five.
"We are looking forward to Texas. It is a great facility and the Dallas, Fort Worth area is a great market area for our teams and sponsors, we're looking forward to a great weekend of racing," said the driver of car 02.
When the SCORE Motorsports team unloads their hauler on Thursday, they will be rolling out a beautiful brand new FanZCar Chevrolet Monte Carlo. "We are very exciting about taking this new car to Texas, it's never been on the track, we're hoping that we'll be fast right off the truck," he added.
On Saturday, 43 NASCAR Busch Series teams will switch gears from racing on a tight short track, to one of the fastest Superspeedways on the circuit. After two solid top-twenty finishes at Darlington and Bristol, The FanZCar team is itching for their first top-ten finish of the season.
"We think a top-ten is very realistic this weekend, otherwise we would not be going," said the 1988 World Karting Association champion. "We are continuing to make progress each and every week, and hope to continue that this weekend," the 34-year old Emporia, Virginia native explained.
Lori Martin, Josolin Richardson, Bryan Richardson, Edgar Westrick, Debra Locker, David Westrick, and Melissa Fibranz will all have a huge weekend ahead of them. These seven members will be at Texas representing The FanZCar and cheering on Hermie Sadler.
"This has been one incredible week for The FanZCar," said Scott Stricker, CEO of The FanZCar. "We have scored our two best finishes in NASCAR competition in the last two events, we only hope as the season marches forward, our success blossoms. We are very much looking forward to the future, and our involvement with Hermie Sadler."
Rolling into Bristol, Sadler has 231 NASCAR Busch Series starts to his record, 2 wins, 18 top-fives, 44 top-tens, three poles, and has achieved $2,251,484 in career earnings.
The O'Reilly 300 is the sixth of 34 events on the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series schedule. Practice and qualifying are on the agenda this Thursday, April 1st with the race set to take the green flag Saturday, April 3rd. FOX will air the event live beginning at 2:00 PM EST, with PRN handling the airwaves starting at 1:30 PM EST.
