DAVID REUTIMANN, No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing Finished: 24th
What happened in the wreck that caused the damage to your car? "All I've heard is that the No. 41 car got into the back of the No. 66 car and turned him across the race track. And all I know is the No. 66 turned sharp left in front of me like something along those lines happened. It's unfortunate because I thought we were going to be okay. We were having a pretty good race even with that deal early in the race when we got the nose knocked in on the car. We had to work on that a little, but we really thought we were going to be able to pull off a pretty good finish."
What were you thinking as Kyle Busch was flipping in front of you? "I just saw him come across the race track and get upside down. I wasn't sure if he was going to come back across the track or what so I just tried to make the best move I could to avoid him. The last thing you want to do is run into a guy that's upside down. I don't want to run into anybody anyway, but I didn't want to mess up his day any worse. It was a pretty wild race out there, but I thought for the most part the guys were pretty respectful. All it takes is one little deal for something to happen because it doesn't take much."
What did you learn today in the draft that you can use in tomorrow's NNCS race? "I learned a lot today for tomorrow like not to get too excited when you get shuffled out because you can get right back in line and get right back out there. I had a good time today and I did learn a lot so I'm really looking forward to tomorrow."
DAVE BLANEY, No. 10 Hass Avocados from Mexico Toyota Camry, Braun Racing Finished: 32nd
What happened with your car in the race today? "This just wasn't our day. Something happened on the initial restart and I got shuffled back and then I got collected in somebody else's accident. That damaged the nose of the car and broke the radiator. We lost a bunch of laps changing that in the garage and then we just tried to ride around the rest of the race and get as many points as possible. It's just been a disappointing day."
JASON LEFFLER, No. 38 Great Clips Toyota Camry, Braun Racing Finished: 35th
What happened in the early-race accident? "We just got hit from behind there early in the race and it put us into the outside wall. We had quite a bit of damage to the front of our Great Clips Toyota Camry and it tore up some of our suspension that we had to get fixed. The rest of the race we just road around trying to miss the wrecks and gain as many points as possible. I hate it for Toyota, Great Clips and our whole Braun Racing team because we really had a great car for today's race and everybody was pumped up with our third place starting position. But those are the types of things that happen at Talladega and we'll regroup and head to Richmond."
