Kenny Wallace on Talladega Superspeedway...

"I love going to Talladega. I have had some great finishes there, and I think it is one of my best tracks. The Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team has put together a great car for me, so we should be a contender when they drop the green flag on saturday.

"We are taking the same car that we ran in the top 10 with all day at Daytona. [Crew Chief] Chris Rice and team learned some valuable information in Daytona and have made the car better for this race.

"I am also very excited about doing double duty this weekend. I will not only be running the Busch Series race on Saturday in the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger car, but will also be running in the NASCAR Nextel Cup race on Sunday for my good friend Michael Waltrip. This will be my first Nextel Cup race this season, and I am really excited about getting the opportunity to go and race for Aaron's."

Kenny Wallace Happenings...

Kenny Wallace will be on the Speed Channel's "Trackside" Friday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. CDT. The "Trackside" stage will be in the infield near the driver/owner lot.

STACKER 2 HAPPENINGS...

Kenny Wallace will be at Ragland High School at 1:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday, April 21, for the fourth stop on the 2004 YJ Stinger's "Race to Bee Safe" program. He will talk to the students about the responsibility of being behind the wheel of a car. The program has an added bonus this year: one student will win a $20,000 scholarship by writing an essay about what the program meant to them.

Get to Know Jack...One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2 heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team completes this year, NVE, the parent company of Stacker 2, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack's medical costs. So far this season, Wallace and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team have earned $1,400 for the cause.

"I intend on completing every lap I can for Jack Sable and the Sable family," Wallace said. "At the end of the year I would like nothing more than to have Jack and his family at our table at the banquet."
