Danny O'Quinn Jr. will drive the No. 50 Transamerica Ford Fusion at California Speedway, four other races
CONCORD, N.C. (February 23, 2006)- Roush Racing's No. 50 Busch series entry will be painted a little differently this weekend, as Danny O'Quinn Jr.'s Ford Fusion will have Transamerica on board for the Stater Brothers 300 at the California Speedway.
The Transamerica companies offer innovative financial products and services to help individuals, families, and businesses build, protect, and preserve their hard-earned assets.
The Transamerica companies are members of the AEGON Group, a multi-national insurance organization headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands. The AEGON Group is one of the world's leading life insurance and financial services organizations. Stonebridge Life Insurance Company and World Financial Group, primary sponsors of the No. 50 Danny O'Quinn, Jr. rookie entry are also members of the AEGON Group of Companies.
The architecture of the Transamerica Pyramid is internationally recognized, and is Transamerica's corporate icon. The Transamerica Pyramid will be clearly present on the No. 50 Roush Racing Ford Fusion.
"We're pleased to be a part of this exciting event," said Bill Tate, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Company. "And wish Danny O'Quinn Jr. and his team all the best."
Transamerica will also be primary sponsor on O'Quinn Jr.'s No. 50 Fusion for four additional races, including Kentucky and Martinsville in June as well as Kansas City and Charlotte in October.
"The Transamerica companies are excellent and have a great reputation," said team owner Jack Roush. "We are proud to be associated with another member company of the AEGON Group with O'Quinn Jr. in the Busch Series."
O'Quinn Jr. heads to the California Speedway with Transamerica on board to run his first race-ever on the west coast, after a clean 18th place finish at Daytona last weekend.
"We're real excited after Daytona going into the race at California Speedway," said O'Quinn Jr. "I'm really looking forward to going to Fontana with Transamerica on board and I think it will be a good race for us."
