Scott Riggs On Rockingham: Scott Riggs, driver of the No. 10 Nestlé Nesquik Ford Taurus is looking forward to his first Busch Series start at North Carolina Speedway.
With the first race of his Rookie season in the Busch Series out of the way, Scott Riggs had three words for his team, ^ÓRockingham, Rockingham, Rockingham!^Ô Moments after climbing from his 6th place finish at Daytona International Speedway, Scott Riggs was redirecting his focus.
^ÓDuring our test session here last month, I learned that I will have to conserve my tires if I want to win at ^ÑThe Rock^Ò,^Ô Riggs said. ^ÓThis track suits my driving style. I tend to let off of my gas and use my brakes less, which helps to maintain the tires. If I can be patient throughout the day, get good pit stops and maintain the tires, you can look for the Nesquik Ford Taurus in Victory Lane.^Ô
Local Success for Riggs^Ò: Riggs experienced many of his first successes in racing within 120 miles of North Carolina Speedway where he amassed 37 wins in 8 years.
Equipment: Riggs and his Nesquik Racing team are taking the same car to Rockingham that Jeff Green drove to Victory Lane at ^ÑThe Rock^Ò in the fall of 2000 as well as Lowe^Òs Motor Speedway in the spring of 2001.
