MARLOW PUMPS PUTS A "HOG ON THE JOB" AT ROCKINGHAM

Rockingham (October 20, 1999) -- Marlow Pumps announced today their plans to sponsor the #47 Innovative Motorsports Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the Kmart 200 on Saturday. The Marlow Pumps Chevrolet will be driven by 1993 NASCAR Busch Series Rookie of the Year, Hermie Sadler.

The car will carry their TRASH HOG? brand name on both rear quarter panel to promote Marlow Pumps world-renowned self-priming pump. The product was promoted last year during a series of award wining ads entitled "Put a Hog on the Job." The TRASH HOG pump is known for its ability to pump virtually any kind of solid. They are used to pump sewage, debris, sludge, and slurry in municipal and industrial applications.

Marlow Pumps is one of the leading manufactures of Self-Priming pumps and like Goulds Pumps is part of the ITT Industries family. Goulds Pumps currently sponsors the #34 NASCAR Busch Series car driven by Mike McLaughlin and owned by Cicci-Welliver Racing.

Sadler is hoping to improve upon his 3rd place finish in last year's Kmart 200 at North Carolina Motor Speedway and lead the Marlow Pumps Chevrolet to Victory Lane.
