Paul Wolfe Back in the Driver's Seat of the No. 6 Hungry Drivers Dodge
Paul Wolfe will climb back into the driver's seat of the Hungry Drivers Dodge this weekend for the Funai 250 at Richmond International Raceway. In addition, Wolfe will drive the No. 6 Dodge at upcoming NASCAR Busch Series events at Dover and Nashville.
Wolfe on Richmond International Raceway
"Sitting on the sidelines the last few weeks has been tough so I am thrilled to be back in the seat this weekend," said Wolfe. "Ray has been working hard to get this new team moving in the right direction and I understand that he needed his veteran drivers to help him do that. They have made significant gains over the last few weeks, with improvements in just about every area. I have all the confidence that when we hit the track in Richmond that we will have a fast race car capable of running up front. Jeremy gave Unilever Foods their first top-10 finish last weekend at Darlington and my goal is to match that or beat it with a top-five or a win."
Home Sweet Home for Two Hungry Drivers Team Members
For Hungry Drivers Crew chief, Trip Bruce and Team Manager, Elton Sawyer, there is no place like home. Bruce, a Richmond, VA native and Sawyer from Chesapeake, VA, look forward to returning to their home track and hope that having family and old friends rooting for the Hungry Drivers team from the stands will bring the team and driver, Paul Wolfe, some good luck. For both there is no place a trip to victory lane would be sweeter.
Wolfe will compete with chassis, No. 12, in this weekend's event at Richmond. This is the same chassis that Wolfe drove to 12th place finish last season in Loudon and that Kasey Kahne drove in Phoenix winning the Busch Pole award.
Lipton® tea will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 6 Dodge Charger in this weekend's event.
