The No. 15 Oakwood Homes team returns to the site of their debut earlier this year. The team started the event at Richmond International Raceway in June of this year in the fourth position. Schrader was running in the top 10 when he was involved in an accident that forced him to retire from the race.

"I am kind of partial to Richmond because it brings back memories of the three years I drove for Junie Donlavey, whose team is based in Richmond," said Schrader, driver of the Oakwood Homes Chevrolet. "I feel like I have some roots there. As for the track itself, since it was resurfaced, it is much faster than I ever remember it being. We were having a good run earlier this year in our first race with Oakwood Homes, and it is unfortunate we were not able to get a better finish."

Ken Schrader has had two top-10 finishes in the last two Busch Series races. He finished 10th at Darlington and sixth at Bristol.

The Oakwood Homes / Andy Petree race team will be utilizing the same car Mike Wallace drove to a ninth place finish at Indianapolis Raceway Park in July. They tested at Richmond earlier in the year, prior to the June event.
