Bobby East will be making his 7th career NASCAR Busch Series start for Brewco Motorsports this weekend driving the #27 Kleenex Ford Fusion at Richmond Int'l Raceway.
The Emerson Radio 250 will be the first-ever NASCAR Busch Series race at Richmond for Bobby East. However, East is no stranger to the .75-mile track. On June 30, 2007, East won the USAC Sprint event at RIR. East also won his first career USAC Silver Crown race at RIR.
Bobby East won the USAC National Midget Championship in 2004 at age 19 to become the youngest ever to win the crown. East was the 2004 USAC Driver of the Year. East is currently a member of the Ford Motor Company Driver Development Program.
Bobby East on Richmond: "This week will be my first race in a Busch car at Richmond, but it's a track that I'm very familiar with. I won my first USAC Silver Crown race there (RIR) and won there again in June this year. I really like Richmond and I'm looking forward to driving the Kleenex Ford Fusion and working with Newt (Crew Chief Moore) and the Kleenex teamam this week."
