The weekend includes two races:
The Lysol 200, an 82 lap, 200 mile NASCAR Busch Series race on the 2.45-mile course at 12:00 P.M. on Sunday.
Ron Fellows will be back to defend his title in the Lysol 200 Busch Series race. Fellows scored his first Busch Series victory by finishing 2.941 seconds ahead of local favorite and 1997 winner, Mike McLaughlin.
The Bully Hill Vineyards 150 for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will race on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. for 62 laps around the 2.45-mile famed road course.
Joe Ruttman is the defending winner for the Craftsman Truck Series. Ruttman finished 1.288 seconds ahead of second place finisher Jay Sauter after Ron Hornaday was blacked flagged on the last restart.
SPECIAL ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WEEKEND:
Watkins Glen International is pleased to announce an exciting weekend of entertainment during the Lysol 200 and Bully Hill Vineyards150. On Friday, WGI will feature Blessed Union of Souls in Concert while Edwin McCain is scheduled to appear on Saturday. Admission for the concert is included with your general admission ticket and both concerts will be held between turn one and two facing the red/white/blue grandstands.
Blessid Union of Souls rose to Platinum status after their debut album "HOME" sold more than 1 million copies and included the #1 single "I Believe" and the smash hit "Let Me Be The One". Fans at Watkins Glen will hear the bands newly released album, "WALKING OFF THE BUZZ", and their new smash hit, "HEY LEONARDO (SHE LIKES ME FOR ME!)", performed on Friday night, June 25, following practice and qualifying.
Edwin McCain, taking the stage at The Glen on Saturday night, June 26th, has become a NASCAR fan since he performed for the record crowd at this year's Daytona 500. McCain has enjoyed popular success with the song "SOLITUDE" and recently his hit single, "I'LL BE" has dominated the popular music charts for nearly a year. "I'LL BE" was featured on the popular television show, "Dawson's Creek" and became a Top 5 hit. Edwin McCain's new single "I COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE" hit the airwaves May 24, and has already begun the climb to the top.
