Where the Busch Series goes, the rain follows. Qualifying was once again rained out, handing Jack Sprague the pole. Two of the last three qualifying sessions have been canceled because of rain.

The majority of the field was determined based on 2002 owner's points. The rest of the field was set depending on entry date. The field will be full, with 43 starters.

Sprague will lead the field to the green with Jason Keller alongside in row one, Randy LaJoie and Scott Riggs in row two and Mike McLaughlin rouding out the top five.

With the rainout, along came frustration for some Winston Cup regulars. Both Stacy Compton and Ron Hornaday will miss Busch Series Happy Hour in order to make the Winston Open race this evening in Concord, NC.
