Concord, NC -- Football Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly announced today that he will be teaming up with car owner Frank Cicci for 2003 in the Busch Series.

Kelly, who had much success over his 13 year football career, is hoping for the same success in racing. "Ever since I was a little boy I thought about racing. It's a sport that I've always loved. I'm here to enjoy myself. But when our car is on the track, watch out."

The team has yet to sign a sponsor and a driver. The car will however, be a catalyst for a foundation Kelly founded on behalf of his son, "Hunter's Hope." Hunter was born with muscular dystrophy.

When asked what the car number will be, Kelly said he had plans to talk to fellow NFL quarterback turned car owner, Terry Bradshaw about taking over the No.12 from his team and driver Kerry Earnhardt.
