GREG BIFFLE-60-Grainger Ford Taurus (Qualified 1st):

YOU DIDN'T SEEM TO RUN CONSERVATIVELY TODAY.

"Not really. I was on the gas today. I didn't want to wreck in qualifying, but I want to get five points for leading a lap, and I want to get up there quick. It's cooling off now, so I think we'll probably get beat, but I think it will be good for a top-five."

WITH THE POINTS SITUATION WHERE IT'S AT NOW, WHAT'S THE GAME PLAN THIS WEEKEND?

"We want to win. That's what we want to do. We want to win two more races and that's what we've got left. That's what we're going to try."

DO YOU THINK THE CUP DRIVERS WILL HAVE A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON TOMORROW'S RACE?

"They will impact the outcome on the race for sure, but like I say, I always welcome the competition because some day if you want to be a better driver than you are now, you have to race with them. The competition is good. Nobody wants no competition because then when go to the next level, you can't compete. I invite every bit of competition."

YOU'VE HAD A LOT OF SUCCESS HERE.

"I really like this race track. It's a lot of fun to drive. My car wasn't as good as I thought it needed to be in race trim, but in qualifying trim it was really good. I just made one qualifying run and parked it for the rest of the practice there. You didn't think that the guys would pick up like they did, and I had to drive the car a lot harder than I expected to to do that lap. I made a pretty huge mistake down there in three and four and got a little bit loose on the second lap. I got way up the race track and got back to the throttle as soon as I could and I was surprised it was on the pole. I'm surprised it held. But, I did the same thing at Memphis and made a mistake and thought that someone would beat me and nobody did. Believe it or not, I think Randy was second there, too. Hopefully, we'll have a better race than we did in Memphis. I think we have a pretty good car and I'm anxious for Happy Hour to get started. I'm pretty happy overall with our whole weekend so far."

"I'm kinda racing like it's the first race of the year, but with a lot more experience now. We just want to finish in the top five. I really want to win here and sew the title up at the same time. That would be fun to celebrate a win and that at the same time. I'll be happy to finish in the top five and I think the team is capable of doing that and we've got a car that can do that, so I'm just excited to be starting up front. Getting five points for leading a lap, maybe that will make a difference at the end."
