BARR-NUNN TRANSPORTATION INC. TO SPONSOR THE NO. 50 AT BRISTOL
CONCORD, N.C. (March 22, 2006)- Danny O'Quinn Jr.'s No. 50 Roush Racing Busch Series entry will have Barr-Nunn Transportation Inc., as a primary sponsor for this weekend's Sharpie Mini 300 at the Bristol Motor Speedway.
Barr-Nunn Transportation Inc., also an associate sponsor of the No. 50 Fusion, will run its first of two races as primary sponsor in the weekend's event on the high-banked half-mile oval.
Different from the usual royal blue colors that are an integral part of primary sponsors' Stonebridge Life Insurance Company and World Financial Group car designs, the Barr-Nunn design incorporates red, black, white and gold.
O'Quinn Jr. is excited about the new paint scheme, and looking forward to racing at Bristol, his home track.
"I'm tickled to have Barr-Nunn on board with us this weekend, and I'm excited to be running a whole new paint scheme," said O'Quinn Jr. "Especially since this is such as special race for me, being that I was born in Bristol and grew up just about an hour away from there."
Barr Nunn transportation Inc's President Rene Beacom is happy to be involved with the Roush Racing team.
"Barr-Nunn Transportation and Barr-Nunn Logistics are thrilled to be sponsoring such a hard-working, aspiring new talent as driver Danny O'Quinn Jr.," said Beacom. "We are using our sponsorship to reach the professional truck driving community and to let them know about the superior driving opportunities available at Barr-Nunn Transportation."
