LOUDON LINGO Not only will Fedewa be racing at the home track for his sponsor Stanley, but also the home track of his crew chief and crew. The Stanley Racing team at Cicci-Welliver Racing is made up of quite a few New Englanders.
"I seem to run well on one-mile ovals, at least from my statistics," said Fedewa. "I like to race on the flat tracks, especially in New Hampshire. I usually run well when I stay out of trouble. Vic (Kangas) is a veteran at New Hampshire, so his notes and setups help us out there."
NAME THAT CAR!!! The No. 36 Stanley Racing Machine that Cicci-Welliver Racing will unload at New Hampshire International Speedway is a car that driver Tim Fedewa has yet to drive this season. The car was built for New Hampshire International Speedway by Cicci-Welliver Racing during the 1998 season. The car never got to race due to an accident during qualifying.
THE ONE WHO ENDS THE SEASON WITH THE MOST TOOLS WINS!!! The Stanley prize for this week at New Hampshire International Speedway is a Stanley 12-piece Home and Office Tool Kit. The winner of the California Speedway 12-Piece Stanley Fastening Tool Kit was Mike Snow from Speedway Scene.
ACTIVITIES Fedewa will participate in the annual NASCAR Busch Series and Busch North Series Doubleheader softball game at Memorial Field in Concord, N.H., on Thursday, May 6 at 5:30 p.m.
Stanley will have approximately 500 employees and race fans at New Hampshire International Speedway this weekend. Stanley considers the Loudon, N.H., track its home track since Stanley World Headquarters is located in New Britain, Conn.
