Thoughts on The New Hampshire 200:
"After three weeks of bad luck, I can't think of a better place to be going to than Loudon. I consider Loudon along with Watkins Glen, my home tracks. This racing facility played such a huge role in my development as a driver. One of my favorite memories happened there in 1990, when I won both a Busch North and a Modified race on the same day. I will never forget how awesome that was"
"I believe this can be the race where we get the Goulds Pumps Chevrolet back on track. We know we can win here at Loudon and that's our only goal for the weekend. We are going to have about 500 Goulds Pumps customers in the hospitality tent and I hope we can bring them all to Victory Lane with us!"
It's where you finish that counts!
In 12 BGN races at NHIS, McLaughlin has 7 top-ten finishes, but only one top-ten start, a pole in 1995. McLaughlin's average finish at NHIS is 12th and his average starting spot is 23rd.
Mike McLaughlin is the second leading all-time race winner at New Hampshire International Speedway with 6 wins.
McLaughlin's broken right hand (Bristol), continues to heal. He will once again race with a protective brace.
