Nazareth Speedway -- May 19, 2002
Scott Riggs on Nazareth Speedway: Scott Riggs, driver of the No. 10 Nestle Nesquik Ford Taurus and Raybestos® Rookie of the Year contender, is looking forward to running his first NASCAR Busch Series race at Nazareth.
Riggs says Nazareth is a 'Driver's Track': Riggs says a driver has to stay focused while racing at Nazareth.
"Nazareth is a very interesting track, " said Riggs. "It is a hard charging driver's track because of the three distinctive turns. Each driver has to stay focused because the track is almost like a round road-course. It makes for great racing because the entire field knows they have to be on the inside line or they will loose precious track position. It is also a test for the pit crews. They have to be on top of their game to make sure the car is handling well enough to get to the inside."
Harold Holly on Testing at Nazareth: The Nesquik Racing Team and the Albertson's Racing Team tested at Nazareth Speedway on May 7 and 8.
"We took both teams to Nazareth to help Scott get comfortable in the car there," said Holly. "I thought it would be a good idea for Scott to have Jason [Keller] with him in case he had questions on what line to run. We had a good test session. Scott ran the track like a pro and I am confident we are looking at another strong finish in the Nestle Nesquik Ford Taurus.
