NASCAR Busch Series: Pepsi 300
Team: No. 6 Discount Tire Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Mike Kelley
Chassis: RK-364 ran at Charlotte last year w/ Mark Martin
Ragan on racing at Nashville Superspeedway:
"This weekend will be a challenge for the Discount Tire Ford Fusion team, but we are looking forward to racing hard at Nashville. We want to be in the top 10 and in contention for a win every week. We got a nice bump in the points after Bristol, so hopefully we can carry that momentum to Nashville. As long as we keep working hard as a team we will be fine".
Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Nashville Superspeedway:
"David has some experience at Nashville in the trucks. We got a nice lift in the points after Bristol, so we are excited about our chances this weekend. The key for us is being consistent every week and taking care of our racecar. The Discount Tire team is starting to put it together from start to finish, and I really believe it is only a matter of time before we are in victory lane".
Team: No. 16 3M Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Eddie Pardue
Chassis: RK-365 Kluever earned three of his four top-10 finishes with this car last year
Kluever on racing at Nashville Superspeedway:
"I expect to have a really good weekend at Nashville. It's a place I really like. I ran well there in the truck and in the Busch car both times last year. Sitting on the pole again would be nice, but I'd rather contend for a win. I've got my favorite car back, the one that got crashed in the Las Vegas test so I'm anxious to get up there in put in a good run.
"Nashville is a neat place. It's concrete so that always makes it a little more fun since there is a lot of grip. The driver can affect the car there, but it's easy to overdrive the corners, which can hurt your exit of the corners. It's a lot of fun for a driver because you can contribute as a driver and your team contributes with a good car."
Eddie Pardue on racing at Nashville Superspeedway:
"I think Todd will do really well this weekend at Nashville. He won the pole there last year in the Busch car, and got a top five in the trucks in 2005. He really likes the track, and we've got his favorite car back for him to drive. He's had some good runs at some tough tracks, so it will be nice for him to get to run at a place he really likes."
Team: No.60 Dish Network Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Pierre Kuettel (P.K.)
Chassis Number: RK-345 Backup car several times in 2006
Edwards on racing at Nashville Superspeedway:
"We are headed to Nashville this week and it's going to be an exciting race. I love racing there. We won in our Busch car last time there. I also won a truck race a couple years ago. It's a fun place to race, but your car has to be perfect, so I am relying on Pierre (Kuettel) and the guys to give me a great car. It should be a relaxed weekend with no Cup race, but we won't let our guard down. Our goal is to win."
Crew Chief Pierre Kuettel (P.K.) on racing at Nashville Superspeedway:
"We are taking our Dish Network Ford Fusion into Nashville with lots of momentum from our Bristol win. The No. 60 team is very motivated about our return trip to Nashville. The last time we were there we ended up in Victory Lane. We would love to end up there again. We have a great setup and plan to extend our points lead."
