Hermie Sadler Hits Nashville Looking For A Tune
Lebanon, Tennessee - - After finishing 22nd Monday afternoon at Dover International Speedway, Hermie Sadler will head to Nashville Superspeedway looking to bypass his string of top-25 finishes and score his first top ten finish of the season Saturday night.
The SCORE Motorsports team headed into the "Monster Mile" last weekend looking to recover from a dismal 41st place finish at Lowes Motor Speedway. The FanZCar Chevrolet qualified 27th on Friday afternoon with all intentions of moving towards the front on race day.
Sadler did just that on Saturday before mother nature invaded on lap 28, with Sadler's black & white Chevrolet Monte Carlo locking 23rd. After several attempts to restart the event on Saturday, NASCAR had no choice but to postpone the race until Monday morning. While battling an ill-handling automobile, Sadler managed to keep his nose clean and stay on top of his game, crossing the line 22nd completing 199 of the 200 markers.
Heading into Nashville this weekend, Sadler has just two starts at the 1.333 mile oval. Hermie has a career best start of 30th which occurred in 2003, while motoring a career best finish of 19th in the same 2003 spring event. The Emporia, Virginia native would like to accelerate past that top-twenty finish by scoring his third NASCAR Busch Series victory of his career in the second and final NSS Busch event this season.
"We finished 22nd back in the spring, and everyone really wasn't happy with that," said Eric Say Co-Founder of The FanZCar. "Hermie worked his tail off to grab every position he did, we expect no different this weekend, hopefully with a little luck on our side, we'll have a concert of our own."
The SCORE Motorsports team will invade the track this weekend, looking for their first top-ten finish of the season. The team has obviously had a few obstacles this season, but as the season has progressed the team continues to learn, grow, and improve setting off a vibe that it's just a matter of time before the team begins to make some serious noise.
While currently occupying the 24th place in the NASCAR Busch Series standings, a good run on Saturday night would allow the team to make a considerable gain in the race for the championship. Sadler jumped one position in the standings after his eighth top-25 finish of the season at Dover.
East Tennessee Trailers have rejoined the now North Carolina based operation as the primary sponsor of the No. 02 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. ETT was the primary sponsor of Sadler's Nextel Cup machine at Bristol Motor Speedway in March.
The FanZCar, Zapf Creation, and Jenkins & Jenkins Law Firm will join car 02 as associate sponsors this weekend.
Becca Brock, Martha Brock, Dennis L Gordon, Sr., Lee Gordon, Michael Page, and Matthew Rummel will have a huge weekend ahead of them. These members will be at Nashville representing The FanZCar and cheering on Hermie Sadler.
Rolling into the Nashville Sadler has 240 NASCAR Busch Series starts to his record, 2 wins, 18 top-fives, 44 top-tens, three poles, and has achieved $2,422,139 in career earnings.
