MILLER'S BACK -- Miller returns to the driver's seat of the REESE'S Chevrolet this weekend after a six-week hiatus. Miller last drove the REESE'S Chevy at Texas Motor Speedway in April, when he started 31st and finished 36th. Even though Miller's season hasn't started the way he had planned, he is looking forward to this weekend's race at Nashville Superspeedway.
A BUSY MONTH OF JUNE -- Miller will definitely have a busy month of June. He will compete in three Busch Series events and fulfill several media and sponsor obligations along the way. After the month winds down, Miller will drive the REESE'S Chevrolet again July 23 at Pikes Peak International Raceway.
REESE'S CHEVY PREVIOUSLY AT NASHVILLE -- Brandon Miller and the REESE'S Racing team learned during the March race at Nashville that a stellar performance and a fast car can be washed away by circumstances that are out of their control. The REESE'S Racing team suffered two flat tires and finished in the 25th spot.
NASHVILLE STAR -- Miller will meet many stars of Nashville this Thursday when he participates in the Country Music Association (CMA) Fan Fest. Miller, along with a few other Busch Series drivers, will sign autographs, meet the country music stars and participate in a press conference with local and national media.
OWNERS' POINTS -- The REESE'S Racing team is second in the Busch Series Owners' Points Standings, separated from the top spot by 68 points.
THE CAR -- The REESE'S Transporter will unload chassis No. 046 at Nashville Superspeedway. The chassis has only been used at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this season and was part of a second-place finish.
QUICK QUOTES AND NOTES
Chew chief Rick Viers on his chemistry with Brandon Miller -- "I think Brandon and I communicate just has well as Kevin and I do. Even though we haven't worked together much on the race track, we work together a lot in the shop. Brandon gets to the shop at least one a week, and we get a chance to talk about strategies we plan to use at each track."
Brandon Miller on the three Busch Series stand-alone events in June -- "This is my time to try and put it all together. The three tracks that we're going to are all tracks that I think I'll be comfortable at. Obviously, we've got Nashville, where I've been, and we've tested at Kentucky.
The only track I haven't seen is Milwaukee and I think I will be able to put something together there. I've got a great team and great race cars. I think June will be my month to shine."
On having Kevin Harvick has a teammate -- "I think it is great to have someone like Kevin as a teammate. Whenever I go to a track I haven't driven before I can go ask him questions. He is always willing to help me out. He also gives me good advice on each track I drive."
