"It's a good job on everybody's part on the Nesquik Ford. When we unloaded here we were a long ways from where we needed to be. I'm just real happy to see my new crew chief this year, Doug Randolph, this is the first time that he's seen Nashville Superspeedway in person. To come here and unload pretty slow, we felt like we needed to gain a lot and to be able to do that, it just puts more confidence and builds more confidence in me and my team. I'm pretty happy with what we were able to do and how much we were able to gain speed-wise. It seems like the track just keeps getting faster every time we come back here. It's a great track with a lot of grip and I'm surprised with what kind of speeds we're able to see here at Nashville. I feel pretty good about it, and, of course, I'm sitting here behind my teammate Jason Keller, and it was a good day for ppc."
"I think so. I don't think the setups will change very much, of course, we're going to have Happy Hour here in a little bit and we'll all sort of tune our cars and dial on them a little bit. As far as the concrete track out here, I don't think it will change a lot and I think that's a positive for us not having to worry about the sun or the temperature affecting the race track dramatically like it would at an asphalt track. That's just one of the perks of running here at Nashville."
"We've definitely been on a roller-coaster ride this year. I'm still really positive and happy with the way the team has been working together. The chemistry has been working good and we're really communicating well. The chemistry is definitely there between myself and the rest of the team. I feel good about it because we've had a competitive car every single race. We haven't been able to show that with our finishes, but behind the driver's seat, I can assure you that all of the cars have been very well prepared. We've had a good setup everywhere and have been really consistent and competitive. Just having the circumstances take us out from finishing well a couple of these races at the beginning of the season, I think everyone is going to have their bumps and bruises and hopefully all of ours are over and we can continue forward and be consistent with my finishes and show just what this team is capable of."
"All of the Winston Cup guys coming to the Busch Series has been a real hot topic it seems like all year. I still stand with my guns and I think that a lot of those races this year that those Cup guys have won, I don't think they won because they were a lot more dominant than any of the guys from the Busch Series. I just think that they had good cars and good equipment and made the right changes and happened to be at the right place at the right time. It takes a little bit of luck in this thing we call racing. You have to have luck on your side. I think Jason feels the same way as I do. When we go to victory lane, we don't want to say that maybe won because the Cup guys weren't here. We want to win when everybody's here so that we can say that we beat them all."
