Jon Wood Quotes

On Milwaukee: "The Milwaukee Mile is my kind of racetrack. You go fast, but you race like it's a short track. It's been a track that I've always liked. In the truck series, I never qualified worse than 13th there in four races, and I've never finished worse than 12th. It's a track that you can attack if your car is right."

On the season: "We had a car that could have won last week's race at Kentucky, but we got pushed into the wall by another driver. The car was so good and the guys never stopped working on it, we still managed a Top-10 finish. That's the kind of effort that will get us back in the Top-10 in points. As long as they keep giving me cars that will consistently run in the Top 5 every week, we're going to win a race this year."

Crew Chief Jay Guy

On Milwaukee: "Jon has some pretty unique ideas about Milwaukee that he brought over from the truck series, and we have a lot of good notes on what makes a car good there. We're going to add them together for a fresh approach to an old track. You know, The Milwaukee Mile used to be a training farm for thoroughbred horses, and we're bringing that same kind of enthusiasm with us. Jon has tremendous unbridled enthusiasm; we're eager to try new things for a fresh approach."
