RICHMOND -- Goulds Pumps driver Mike McLaughlin will attempt to gain the upper hand on Richmond International Raceway Friday night. Throughout McLaughlin's six year Busch Series career, the .750 mile short track has been a thorn in his side. With 12 career starts, McLaughlin lists only one top-ten finish and one top-ten start at the historic oval.

"We have had some of the craziest luck at Richmond," McLaughlin said. "We have caught on fire, had plug wires fall off, been in multi-car wrecks and blown engines. Hopefully we can turn that luck around Friday night and record our best Richmond finish ever."

McLaughlin will take the green flag at 7:30pm on Friday Night in the Hardee's 250.
