WARD BURTON, NO. 22 POLARIS PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (4th):

(ON THE LAST RUN) "My car was really fast the first 15 or 20 laps. The Polaris team did a good job adjusting on it. It was just the longer we would run the tighter we would get. But I'm exceptionally happy for Todd Bodine and his wife Lynn. He drove a good race and he had the best handling race car."

(WHY DID HIS CAR TIGHTEN UP?) "What they were telling me is that the inside of the right front was wearing out, so we had the camber off a little bit. But it's been a while since we ran our Polaris Pontiac, so we'll take a fourth and go to the next week and try to do a little bit better."

(ON THE LAST 10 LAPS OF THE RACE) "That was just all I had. I was real tight, and the longer I'd run the tighter I'd get with the nose. But all in all, we'll take that. If we had gotten the car to handle a little better we could have gotten them. But that's the way it is every week. The best handling car ought to win and Todd had it today."
