On Michigan: "This may be my first Busch Series race at Michigan, but I'm certainly no stranger to that track. I've got two Top-10 finishes there in the truck series and my family's race team holds the record there with 11 wins. The thing I know about that track is the driver who can stay on the gas the longest before getting into Turns 1 and 2 and get back on the gas quickest getting off Turns 2 and 4 will be the fastest. Everything you do at Michigan is geared toward making a run down the straightaways."
On the season: "We've kind of hit a rookie slump lately, but most of our problems have been issues not of our own doing. Sometimes you can't do anything about racing luck; sometimes you can.
