Big Weekend for Domino's Pizza at Home Track
Brooklyn, MI -- This weekend is a home race for the "Official Pizza of NASCAR" Domino's Pizza, with their corporate office located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. How big of weekend is it for Domino's Pizza? For starters, Michigan International Speedway is delivered by Domino's Pizza, meaning Domino's is the presenting sponsor of MIS -- and that's just the beginning.
Domino's Pizza to be Primary Sponsor of #99 Dominos.com Toyota at Michigan
The #99 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota, driven by David Reutimann, is usually sponsored by Aarons Sales and Lease, but this weekend it will have a different yet familiar sponsor at Michigan International Speedway during the Busch Series CARFAX 250.
Domino's Pizza, the Official Pizza of NASCAR, will not only be returning as primary sponsor of the #00 Toyota - but will also be featured on the #99 Busch Series Toyota, at the track that is delivered by Domino's Pizza - Michigan International Speedway.
The #99 Dominos.com Toyota will give fans their first glimpse at the new look car for Reutimann, who will also drive the same paint scheme in the #00 Dominos.com Toyota which makes its on-track debut on Sunday in the 3M Performance 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race.
"We are excited to debut our #99 Dominos.com Toyota for the NASCAR Busch Series race this Saturday -- where David and his team will hopefully continue their level of success they have had all season," said Chris Brandon, Sports Marketing Program Leader for Domino's Pizza. "It will be a big weekend for Domino's at Michigan International Speedway both on and off the track -- and we will certainly be pulling for David to run well in both the #99 and #00 Dominos.com Toyotas in both races."
David Reutimann sits 2nd in the NASCAR Busch Series points, and has amassed three top-five and nine top-ten finishes so far this season, including a second at Nashville earlier this season.
"Domino's Pizza has been an awesome sponsor this year, and it's exciting to have them not only back on my #00 NEXTEL Cup Toyota but also on the #99 Busch Series Toyota this weekend. It's a big weekend for them -- it's their home track, and they have a large number of employees here to cheer us on," said Domino's driver David Reutimann. "We're also debuting the Dominos.com paint scheme on the #00 that will run the rest of the season. Nothing would be better than giving them a great finish in both the #99 and #00 at Michigan International Speedway this weekend -- then everyone can go online at Dominos.com and order lots of pizza."
