Mike Harmon To Attempt NASCAR Busch Event At Memphis For Bobby Norfleet Racing And FUBU The Collection
Carl Brown, Cofounder of FUBU THE COLLECTION, a sportswear company based in New York City, in a multiyear partnership with BOBBY NORFLEET RACING Team, will sponsor and field an African American owned and operated race car in NASCAR's 2006 BUSCH and NEXTEL CUP SERIES, the premier auto racing competition in North America.
Mr. Brown has recently positioned the FUBU Corporation as the primary sponsor of BOBBY NORFLEET RACING. This team will be operated out of their racing facilities in Mooresville, North Carolina.
BOBBY NORFLEET RACING with their Chevrolet Monte Carlo, adorned with FUBU inspired logos, will continue their trek through the NASCAR circuit this Saturday, October 22, 2005 for the NASCAR Busch Series Sam's Town 250 at the Memphis Motorsports Park in Memphis, Tennessee. Veteran driver Mike Harmon will be at the wheel of the #24 Chevy this weekend. This will he Harmon's second NASCAR Busch Series attempt of 2005.
Harmon, originally from Birmingport, Alabama, has been busying himself this year by running the full 2005 season in the ARCA REMAX Series as the primary driver for Oostlander Racing's #38 entry. Harmon finished the season at Talladega Superspeedway on October 1st and locked down an impressive 8th place in the overall season points standings.
"I'm looking forward to working with FUBU and Bobby Norfleet Racing this weekend at Memphis. We really had short notice to put this deal together, but, I'm hoping we have a good run. I look forward to working with them in the future," stated Harmon
FUBU THE COLLECTION will continue their sponsorship of BOBBY NORFLEET RACING for the remainder of this exciting season, as well as the entire 2006 NASCAR Season.

The race will be televised live, flag-to-flag at 2:30 PM on the TNT Cable Network, as well as XM Satellite Radio on Channel 44.
