Highpoint, NC -- John Graham returns to the number 72 MacDonald Motorsport Team at Memphis for the Sam's Town 250. It will be his first opportunity to race at the ¾ mile Memphis Motorsports Park track on Saturday, October 23rd. And in keeping with the event's salute to Elvis Presley, "He Dared to Rock", Canadian singer songwriter Gordon Lightfoot will promote his latest album Harmony on the #72 car.

Gordon Lightfoot has five Grammy nominations and 17 Juno Awards in his native Canada. In 1970, in recognition of his contributions in furthering Canadian culture, he received the prestigious Order of Canada citation; in November 1997 he was presented the Governor General's Award-the highest official Canadian honor, which is conferred on very few, for their international efforts in spreading Canadian culture. Gordon was also honored as a charter member of Canada's Walk of Fame and most recently was elevated to the "companion" of the Order of Canada (highest level) in December. Lightfoot also was just inducted into The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. Artists who have recorded Lightfoot's songs include Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Sarah McLachlan, Barbra Streisand, Peter Paul & Mary, Harry Belafonte, Jane's Addiction, Richie Havens, Glen Campbell, Anne Murray, Nana Mouskouri and George Hamilton IV.

"Gordon had helped me very early on in my career and it's great to be involved in the promotion of his new album Harmony. NASCAR BUSCH is where we want to be in 2005 and our current plan is to run 6 races this year and we look forward to building on that."

In Graham's first BUSCH race, at IRP, he completed the race with a 31st place finish and finished 29th at Richmond. "I'm feeling a lot more comfortable in the car, as qualifying is still very different for me, and I look forward to the continuing challenge." Graham will also drive the #72 at Phoenix, Darlington and Homestead (Miami).

"Off-track, we (AURORA INVENTIVE) have worked very hard to get to this point. Rob (Fessler) has allowed me to concentrate on what I need to do while he continues to work with our associates in preparation for the full 2005 season. We have a solid strategy and that combined with the efforts of MacDonald Motorsport will allow us to achieve our objectives."

John Graham, although new to the NASCAR BUSCH series, has raced in numerous forms of international motorsport. His most recent accomplishments include 7 starts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, including a 675 class win in 2000, and third place in the 2001 ALMS 675 Drivers Championship. In addition he has also competed in the Paris-Dakar Rally.

The Sam's Town 250 is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET start on Saturday, October 23rd. Qualifying will be held on Friday afternoon, October 22nd. TNT and MRN will provide the television and radio coverage of what promises to be one of the most exciting races of the 2004 season.
