Keller Looking to Rebound After Disappointing Night...The NBS heads to Memphis Motorsports Park this weekend where 34-year old Jason Keller will be making the fifth start of his career at this track. Memphis proved to be good to Keller last year, as he finished second to Bobby Hamilton, Jr. by a mere 1.019 seconds. Keller is coming off of a disappointing 30th place finish last weekend at Charlotte when his car broke loose on lap 4, sending him spinning into the inside retaining wall. The South Carolina native still sits seventh in the point standings, 95 points out of fifth place. Keller has finished in the top-five in driver standings for the last four consecutive years.
St. Jude Bound--Keller will be one of several drivers making the trip to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital this weekend in Memphis. Keller will arrive at the hospital at 9 a.m. on Friday morning to sign hero cards and meet with the kids. St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility in the world. Discoveries made at the research hospital have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses.
The Car--The Miller High Life crew will be bringing car No. 57-21 to the track this weekend in Memphis. This is the same car that Keller drove to a fifth place finish at Richmond this year. Keller also drove this car to a second place finish last year at Memphis.
Keller on racing at Memphis--"I like racing at Memphis. This is a good track for me; I finished second here last year to Bobby (Hamilton Jr.) and really felt like we had the car to beat. So hopefully we can come back this year and leave with a top-five finish again."
Keller on visiting St. Jude's--"It's always nice when you can come to a place like this and get to visit the kids. I look forward to going to St. Jude's every year that we come here. I have kids of my own and know how much it means to these parents that we're here."
