The Equipment... The Phillips 66 team will compete with "Chassis #19" this weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park, the same car the team tested with last week at the track. "Chassis #19" made its last appearance at Darlington Raceway in September, finishing 12th. The same car also ran at Rockingham and Darlington earlier this year.

Now Appearing... Casey Mears will be attending the 4th Annual Busch Series Bash on Beale Street. The event will take place at the Rock and Soul Museum on Thursday, October 17, from 7 - 8 p.m. The driver's autograph session will take place from 7:15 - 8 p.m.

Last Weekend In Charlotte... A broken ignition coil on lap 71 slowed Mears' march toward the front during the Little Trees 300. Mears was running 14th when the car lost power. The team repaired the problem and sent Mears back into the race on lap 82. He finished the event 27th.

"I can't believe how good our car was in the beginning of the race and we were running guys down easily. We've had some really crazy things go wrong this season, but everyone is keeping their chins up. We'll put this behind us and go get them at Memphis next weekend."

Casey Mears' Thoughts On The Team's Recent Test At Memphis... "Our test at Memphis went alright. Although we didn't run as well as I would have liked, the test was still beneficial. We learned a couple of things about the front-end of the car that worked for us during the test, but haven't worked for us at other places so far this season."
