SHERMAN'S HISTORY AT MEMPHIS -- Brent Sherman will drive the ppc Racing No. 10 Serta Ford Taurus in Saturday's Sam's Town 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park. The race marks his second trip to the 0.75-mile track. In last year's event, he qualified 18th and finished 37th after he was sidelined by contact with another car. The race was Sherman's second career start in the NASCAR Busch Series.

ppc RACING AT MEMPHIS -- In four NASCAR Busch Series races at Memphis Motorsports Park, ppc Racing's No. 10 team has collected one pole, two top-fives, two top-10s and led 323 laps.

SILVER ANNIVERSARY FOR SHERMAN -- Saturday's race at Memphis will mark Sherman's 25th start in the NASCAR Busch Series.

NASCAR FANFEST APPEARANCE -- On Thursday, Sherman will make an appearance at the NASCAR Fanfest at Sam's Town-Tunica. The event is scheduled to run from 6-8 p.m. and will feature autograph and Q&A sessions with the drivers in attendance, as well as live and silent auctions.

CHASSIS INFORMATION -- The No.10 Serta team is running chassis No. ppc 36 in Saturday's race. This will be the first time Sherman has competed with it. The team will have chassis No. ppc 33 on the hauler as a backup for the event. Sherman last raced the backup chassis (where it was the primary) at Gateway International Raceway in July.

LAST RACE -- Last Friday at Lowe's Motor Speedway, Sherman started 17th and finished 13th in the pink No. 10 Serta/Counting Sheep for the Cure Ford.

SHERMAN ON RACING AT MEMPHIS -- "I know the guys have been working hard in the shop this week getting the cars ready for Memphis and I plan to do my part on the track and back up our run from last week with another great finish. I haven't had the best of luck in the past at short tracks, but I'm looking to turn that around this weekend at Memphis."

CREW CHIEF TIM SHUTT ON GOING TO MEMPHIS -- "What can I say about Memphis? It's the 'Home of the Blues' and with any luck we won't be singing them this weekend. We had a great run last week in Charlotte and hopefully we'll bring that momentum with us to Memphis."

EVENT INFORMATION -- Qualifying for the Sam's Town 250 is scheduled for 11:35 a.m. EDT on Saturday, and will be broadcast by SPEED Channel starting at Noon. Race time is set for 3:30 p.m. EDT and will be televised live on TNT and broadcast by MRN Radio.
