CONCORD, N.C.-Coming of a disappointing run at the MBNA.com 200, Mark Green and his Superflo/HMV Motorsports team headed to the Lowe's Motor Speedway for a NASCAR Busch Series test session to prepare for the All Pro Bumper-to-Bumper 300. Green failed to qualify for May's CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 held at the track and feels that that will change after turning in a productive test. "We had a great test session which makes us feel pretty confident going into the race," commented Jeff Hensley, team manager of HMV Motorsports. "We ran a 30.80 in the morning which is a big improvement over our spring qualifying time of 31.10. (Jeff) Burton was the quickest with a 30.65. Our time should be about the third quickest of all the cars here." Originally scheduled for a Monday and Tuesday practice, Green and his crew are going to load their things and head back to their Ridgeway, Va. shop a day early feeling confident about their performance and chances for the All Pro Bumper-to-Bumper 300. "We feel pretty confident right now going into Charlotte and are going to load the car and head back to the shop," continued Hensley. "I don't really feel that there is anymore we can learn about the car on old tires. Goodyear is going to bring a different tire to the race, which we are not practicing on so it wouldn't benefit us to practice anymore on tires that we won't be running during the race. "I am really looking forward to getting back here in two weeks with a car we feel like we have a handle on. The last couple of races it has seemed as though we couldn't do anything to tighten the car when it was loose and today everything we worked. We were a step ahead of the game all day and if we can continue that for the race we should get the break we have been waiting for."
