CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Enjoying the weekend away from NASCAR Busch Series competition, Mark Green has regrouped and is ready to do battle on the uniquely shaped Nazareth Speedway for the Econo Lodge 200, held in Nazareth, Pa. Sunday, July 16. "Nazareth is not like any speedway I have ever run," commented Mark Green, driver of the No. 63 Superflo/HMV Motorsports Chevrolet. "It has a unique shape to it, going up hill into turns one and two and down hill into turns three and four. The only way to describe it is as a road course with all left-hand turns." Green is coming off of a 23rd place finish at the Sears DieHard 250 held at the Milwaukee Mile, in Milwaukee, Wis., where he fought handling problems the entire weekend. "We had trouble all weekend at Milwaukee getting the car to handle correctly," continued Green. "Last week when we got back to the shop we looked the car over and found some geometrical problems in the front-end that may have caused the problem." After spending two weeks preparing the No. 63 Superflo entry for the Econo Lodge 200, Jeff Hensley, HMV Motorsports team manager, hopes to take home a strong finish at Nazareth. "We have made some adjustments to the A-frames on the front-end that should solve our handling problem," explained Hensley. "The main thing that we need to do as a team is to give Mark a good racecar and let him do the rest. By fixing the problems we found, I think we have done that." "Nazareth is always an interesting track to race on," continued Hensley. "Mark has run well there in the past but has not had strong finishes. If everything goes well on Sunday, that should all change." Mark Green and his No. 63 Superflo Chevrolet may be seen live on ESPN, Sunday, July 16, competing in the Econo Lodge 200 starting at 12:30 p.m. EST. MRN Radio will also broadcast the Econo Lodge 200 with live coverage beginning at 12:15 p.m. EST.
