Ken Schrader Racing will roll out "Rhonda" this weekend at Louisville Motor Speedway. That would be Rhonda as in--Help Me Rhonda, Help Help Me Rhonda. It last raced in Flemington and finished 10th. Rhonda started the race with a provisional and charged to the front of the pack to finish in the top 10.
Last year at Louisville Motor Speedway Wallace finished the race in 10th position after being forced to take his first provisional with Ken Schrader Racing. Both times the Purolator PureONE race team has started from a provisional spot they have finished 10th. Wallace is not looking to repeat his starting position, but is looking for a top-10 finish.
This track is very unique," said Wallace. "It is different from any other track on the circuit. They have made some changes to the track since last year. I consider this one of the toughest short tracks we race at."
To prepare for the Kroger 225 and to get a feel for the changes in the track, Ken Schrader Racing and the No. 52 Purolator PureONE Chevrolet tested at Louisville Motor Speedway. The team traveled to Louisville on their way to race at Nashville Speedway USA.
"It's kind of like Flemington," said Tim Kohuth, crew chief for the No. 52 Purolator PureONE Chevrolet. "You go there to work on race setups. We don't know how we'll qualify but we would like to think we'll be good. We tried some different things and we think we learned a lot."
