SHANE HMIEL AND WINFUEL TEAM READY TO GAMBLE FOR A WIN IN VEGAS
MOORESVILLE, NC (March 8, 2005) -- The last time Shane Hmiel was at Las Vegas Motor Speedway he ended the evening in victory lane, capturing his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win. This time, Shane is back in the #32 WINFUEL Chevrolet to try and capture his first Busch Series win.
"I'm really looking forward to going to Las Vegas this weekend," Hmiel said. "It was awesome to final break through and get my first Craftsman Truck series win there last year. I really feel like we have a good shot to put our WINFUEL Chevrolet in victory lane there in Vegas. Hopefully I can also get my first Busch Series win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway too."
"The car that we are taking is the same one that I finished 3rd in at California a few weeks ago, so it is definitely on of my favorites. We came so close to pulling off the win in California, and that makes me really excited going into Vegas."
After fifteen years of racing, Shane Hmiel knows that a good team and supportive sponsor are needed in order to compete for NASCAR wins. "I know that my WINFUEL team gives me a real shot a winning each week," Shane said. "It's just a matter of time until all of our hard work pays off and we get our first win. My sponsor WINFUEL is ALL about Winning, and so it this Braun Racing team."
"Our ultimate goal for this season is to win the Busch Series championship, but we also want to win a lot of races along the way. This is the first time in my career that I have had all of the pieces in place to really make my mark."
WINFUEL is ALL about WINNING... and so are Shane Hmiel and Braun Racing. Follow all of the action this week as the WINFUEL team heads to Las Vegas to lay it all on the line as they gamble for their first win of the season. LIVE television coverage begins on FX at 3:30 p.m. EST.
