Team Marines Racing Notes and Quotes:
Bobby Hamilton, Jr. and his No. 25 Team Marines head into Las Vegas hoping to be graced by the presence of Lady Luck. After cutting a tire at Daytona and getting caught a lap down at Rockingham, they feel that its time for a little good luck to come there way. And what better place than the City of Lights, where luck is tested every second of every day?

"I'm really looking forward to getting out to Las Vegas. Despite what it looks like on paper, Las Vegas is one of my favorite tracks. It's a fast track that's got a lot of grip and allows you to race hard. I have always run well there, but circumstances have forced me out of the race. Two years ago it was an engine overheating. Last year it was a blown engine. If luck stays on our side this time, I think we'll be a definite threat to take the checkered flag."

Crew chief, Fred Wanke on Las Vegas:
"Las Vegas is one of those flat tracks that are meant for side-by-side racing. It's important to keep the attitude of the chassis fairly flat so that you'll be able to roll fast through the corners. Finding a happy medium between aero-balance and chassis-balance is essential. You'll see a lot of long green-flag runs, so fuel mileage strategy and pit strategy plays a significant role here."
