Jon Wood Quotes
On Kentucky: "There are several racetrack that I really like, and this is one of them. As soon as I found out I would be driving in the NASCAR Busch Series this year, Kentucky was one of the first tracks that I had circled. I had a pole there in the truck series in 2002 and I've never been worse than 13th there in four truck races. More important, I've finished on the lead lap in every race. We can add what we learned in the truck series to what we know about our Clorox/ Ford and we should be even better."
On the season: "We've had a couple bad races in a row and it's time to turn things back around. Right now, we're not thinking about the point standings. We're more concerned with getting back on track and knocking out some consistent Top-10 finishes. If we do that, the points will take care of themselves."
Crew Chief Jay Guy
On Kentucky: "It's amazing just how much Jon knows about Kentucky. He had some pretty good ideas about how to make the car fast there, and it's going to be fun to put that to work. He really likes to attack a track, and Kentucky is the kind of place where he can do that. The challenge we have as a team is to give him a car so he can do that."
