MOMENTUM KEY FOR LEFFLER AND GREAT CLIPS TEAM HEADING INTO KENTUCKY

* After posting a season-high third place finish last weekend at Nashville Superspeedway, Leffler gained five spots in the Busch series point standings, moving up to 12th.

* In two NASCAR Busch Series starts at Kentucky, Leffler has one top-10 finish with a seventh place in 2004. In that race he started fourth and led for four laps. Last year at Kentucky, Leffler was credited with a 40th place finish after an early accident ended his day.

* In two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts at Kentucky Speedway (2002 and 2003), Leffler has one pole ('02) and two fifth-place finishes to his credit.

* Leffler will compete in NASCAR night at Macon Speedway in Decatur, IL on Thursday night along with numerous other Nextel Cup and Busch Series drivers.

LEFFLER ON KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY:

"Kentucky is a great race track -- wide, with lots of room for passing and a lot of grip. The wide grooves allow you to run pretty much anywhere on the track you want to and where your car handles the best. I have only run a handful of races at Kentucky but have a lot of laps under my belt with testing there so often over the years. We had a great run at Nashville last weekend and gained some ground in the point standings so hopefully we can continue to build upon that momentum with another strong run this weekend in Kentucky."

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:

The Great Clips team will unload chassis # 23 in this weekend's Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway. Leffler has three of his best finishes of the season driving chassis #23 with a season-high third place finish last weekend in Nashville, 11th in Dover, fourth in the April race at Nashville and a sixth place finish at Darlington.
