BOBBY HAMILTON, JR.-25-Team Marines Ford Taurus (Qualified 2nd)

"Fortunately, we've always had pretty decent cars here. With Robert Yates and Ford always giving us good cars, it's just been one of those tracks that's been well to us. It has the grip and the tendency for a lot of speed. When you have those characteristics with downforce and horsepower, you're going to be good. We've always had the combination ever since we've been here. Also, the grip is real driver friendly, so it's one of those places that we look forward to coming back here."

TALK ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HAROLD HOLLY.

"The big thing with Harold is that he's such a people person. Plus, he gets his race cars driving on the edge, but the bodies are in such good location that people can't disturb them, so you can race. You can get on the inside or the outside and not get moved around a lot. It's amazing what one person can do for a team. He just seems to pick up all of the guys around him. They listen to him and see if they can learn things. He's been one of the main players for the whole team the last three weeks. We haven't finished outside of the top 10. I think that what we have right now, we're capable of winning some races and going after the points."

TALK ABOUT TOMORROW'S RACE. IT'S THE SECOND-LARGEST PURSE FOR A STANDALONE BUSCH SERIES EVENT.

"Talking about money, it gives everyone incentive. It's really good for the teams, and the owners and everybody. If you can make money, you can run longer. You can buy more equipment, so that's another good reason for coming here. That shows how much pride that Kentucky Speedway takes in the Busch Series, making sure that we get paid well. This is one of the places that any driver or owner would vote to come back here two or three times. It's really special and it gives you something to shoot for. Whoever has the most money can buy the most toys, so, of course, you want to run around here and finish good and come out of here with a big paycheck."
